NC Concealed Carry Class
This is a NC Concealed
Carry Class. Upon successful completion, you will be issued a certificate that you will submit for a concealed carry permit. The class is from 8am to 5pm. We provide lunch, water and sodas. Discounts are available for Active Duty, Veterans, Teachers and First Responders. If you qualify for the discount, it will also apply to your spouse / Significant other. We have 9mm ammunition for sale. We cannot guarantee that we will have any other calibers. Handguns are available for rent. The rental fee is $25 and that includes the necessary ammo for the class.
What to bring to the NC concealed carry class.
- NC or Government issued picture ID. Drivers License or the like is preferred. If you do not possess a valid Government ID you will have to tell me precisely what your full name is. Keep in mind you will need a valid ID when applying for the permit.
- Pen and Paper
- Snack and/or beverage if you want something other than what we are providing. No alcoholic beverages.
- Eye protection and ear protection appropriate for shooting guns.
- Sunscreen is advised if you burn easy.
- CHECK THE WEATHER for the day of the class. And bring the appropriate clothing for outdoor shooting. Rain jacket, etc.
- Please wear closed toe shoes. No flip flops. And please no low cut shirts. Hot brass on bare feet and down the front of a shirt is no fun.
- Handgun of any caliber. Revolvers are acceptable. However, if you bring a revolver you will be reloading a lot and the gun itself will get hot with all the shooting. Prepare accordingly.
- Ammo, 50 rounds in the proper caliber for the handgun you bring. Don’t bring defensive ammo for this class. You will be wasting a lot of money. Buy range ammo. Ask a sales associate at the place you shopping for range ammo. They will help. If they can’t, call me while you are standing at the ammo selection and I will help you the best I can. Factory ammo only. No remanufactured ammo. Quality does matter here. Don’t risk failing the range qualification due to cheap ammo. Stick with name brand stuff. Blazer Brass, Federal, Fiocchi, Winchester, Etc.

- Lunch with sodas and bottled water.
- Handguns for rent. If you do not have a handgun to bring to the class we will rent you one for $25. This covers the required ammo for the class. We accept cash, card, Cash App and Venmo.
- We stock 9mm ammo should you need a box for the class. It is $20 a box and you will need one box for the class.
- If you do not have eye and ear protection we will have some onsite for you to use at no charge.
- The targets you will shoot.
- Classroom materials including materials you will keep.
